Gare DU Noord, 2017 - ongoing

The +12 time zone (midnight) is also called the International Date Line, which moves the current date from one to the next. This imaginary navigation line runs from the north pole to the south pole through the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The earth rotates counterclockwise; in 24 hours through 24 time zones, and moves continuously through the international dateline.

Just before the midnight limit will be exceeded, time will return to the previous time zone. With this, Before Midnight is a timepiece where time seems to stand still and where corresponding place names postulate a journey through unknown areas and remote parts of the world.
